More Mister Donut with the line (short at 9:45 at night, but still - you don't see the american competitors this late, or do you??)
The Taiwan famous "Mr. Donut" - with all of the great pastries here, the guy who has the franchise for Starbucks decided to open a donut place - it's got a line every minute it's open. There are even delivery services all over taiwan - each donut is about 30 cents - they'll charge you 40 cents to deliver donuts anywhere on the island....
Taiwan at night
Awesome time this evening in Taipei. First, a little business craziness - these people either drink lots and lots and lots, or very little - lots of smoking, but it's a high stress life...
Then up to the top of the Taiwan 101 - Very rich shopping mall and the tallest building in the world (until Fall). You can only go to the 89th floor - NT$350 (about $11US). Very nice.
Then dinner - Fondue, taiwan style. Bowls of soup where you put vegtables (Taro!) in to cook and meat.
Then off to the famous night market! Lots of hello kitty stuff - had to get things for the kids. Also, even though I was SOOO full, I got Milk Tea with Gelatin(?) - I can't remember - but it's that tea with the balls at the bottom - I got it somewhere else, but I can't remember where...Israel?
Pictures coming soon...
Taiwan is going well - Tried Pig Kidney - good for after birth, but told my host that I hadn't given birth yet.
Found this from the bbcworld.com site. Here's my countries I've been to.
